Cyril's Brown (Argynnina cyrila) An attractive brown butterfly with a wingspan of about 40 mm. Both wings showed splashes of yellow with a slight difference in tone; the fore wings were lighter than the hind wings. Each fore wing had three minute white dots and each hind wing had an eye-spot.
This butterfly was not as easy to spot as the common brown. As it was very alert and did not rest for more than a few seconds, it was also difficult to photograph.
