  2. This was one we saw. Another had just climbed out of the water, our guide saud he had probably fallen, he was very wet and green Posted 9 years ago
  3. I guess it is either a Hoffmann's two-toed sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni) or Linnaeus's two-toed sloth (Choloepus didactylus). They look much alike and both are found in Ecuador, although they are found in different areas. Posted 9 years ago

Linnaeus's two-toed sloth, also known as the southern two-toed sloth or unau, is a species of sloth from South America, found in Venezuela, the Guyanas, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil north of the Amazon River.
