  1. Fantastic, Jeroen, I was hoping to come across one of these with their gorgeous colors! Posted 9 years ago
    1. Should not be long before they come back into action! You can find them easily around any horse or cow meadow. Posted 9 years ago
  2. Amazing, I can't believe the depth of field you get with this rig!

  3. Yeah I don't get it lol Ive attempted this technique with a 35mm prime 1.4 L and the preset to f22, f16 and the DOF is still really narrow. @JHoppenbrouwers any advice or guidance would be muchly appreciated :)

Equipment used Canon 5D III, Canon 35mm f1.4 L USM (prime)

    1. I see whats wrong, it is the camera. My father also has a canon 5d mark III. And it is a full frame camera. I don't use a fulframe camera for macro work just because of the crop factor. The 5d mark III is really a brilliant camera but i also compared it with the same reversed lenses i use with my cropped Nikon camera's and i get the same results as you. But i have done really sharp macro's with that camera and reversed lenses but you have to shoot smaller critters. (not frame filling) Than the DOF is ok and you can crop a bit afterwards.
