Yellow in green! It was extremely difficult to track and photograph these fast moving birds. When on ground they keep wagging their tail up and down and are on constant move in search of food, which primarily consists of small insects and worms.
When threatened they inspect the surrounding and make quick short flights to a nearby place about 100 meters away.
The western yellow wagtail is a small passerine in the wagtail family Motacillidae, which also includes the pipits and longclaws.
