
Violet-Green Swallow
This was arguably the hardest bird in flight that I have ever attempted to capture. These swallows are extremely fast, acrobatic, and erratic in their flight patterns. They feed on small flying insects and dart around trying to catch them at high rates of speed above waterways. I took at least 100 images and was fortunate enough to retain 5 semi "keepers".
