  2. did I miss the location on that one? There was one yesterday that I geotagged, but it didn't take - the location is there on the map, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing it as USA.. nvm - it's fixed today. ( I do get up into Canada occasionally, but it would be likely all the photos for the day would be there. There's been some problems recently with hikers technically crossing the border illegally and being subject to arrest because there's not an immigration checkpoint on the trail...) The sage thrasher is a medium-sized passerine bird from the family Mimidae, which also includes mockingbirds, tremblers, and New World catbirds. It is the only member of the genus ''Oreoscoptes''. This seems less close to the Caribbean thrashers, but rather to the mockingbirds instead .

''O. montanus'' are pale grey-brown on the upperparts and white on the underparts with dark streaks. They have a slim straight relatively short bill, yellow eyes and a long tail, although not as long as.. more
