Sciovia lusitanica is an insect of the family crickets (Gryllidae). The scientific name of this species was first published in 1838 by Rambur. The great cephalic extension and contrast between white and dark elytral rest of body colored males (females are much more discreet) make powerfully S. lusitanica call attention.
