Nomada signata I took this picture on a very weird day, one moment it was sun all over and a few minutes later pouring rain. 2. F/1.0? wow lol is that correct? The DOF looks to wide for f/1, none the less great shot! Posted 3 years ago
    1. I think it's because Jeroen uses a reversed lens. Posted 3 years ago
    2. Ferdy is right, With F1 at this magnification it would be a DOF less than hundreds of mm's. My camera doesn't know what lens there is on te camera so automatically in the EXIF it says F1. I always use F16 with any of my reversed lenses. (but you are definitely not the first one asking ;) ) Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago
  3. Cold weather is really great for insect photography :)

Anyway, you've done it again, world-class macro.

    1. Thanks!

Yea on days with heavy rain most insects don't go anywhere until they are completely dry, Like with this one it takes them a few minutes to dry themselves of to fly away again. Time that can be well spent to take pictures!
