PIebald Whitetail Deer My fiance and I were talking about piebald deer earlier this day; how we had never seen one and if we would shoot one during hunting season if we did stumble upon one. Literally a few hours later, we came across this piebald doe and snapped whatever pictures we could of her before she vanished into the dense woods of Idaho. The white-tailed deer, also known commonly as the whitetail and the Virginia deer, is a medium-sized species of deer native to North America, Central America, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia, where it predominately inhabits high mountain terrains of the Andes.
