    1. The image is actually a composite of three images, but all taken at minimum focal distance, so they are consistent.

  2. Howdy Dave, I've added two tags for the other two ladybirds in the image. The Epilachninae in the foreground to me looks like "Diekeana alternans" but in truth that is a species complex, so hard to tell which cryptic species exactly, although on Java it might very well be the actual Diekeana alternans. The red one in the back should be Coelophora inaequalis.
