Pseudagrion pruinosum pruinosum – Grey Sprite
A delicate damsel around 1.5” long, with striking blue flashes. As it matures it becomes coated in what looks like a fungus, but is actually pruinescence, a waxy substance that gives the damsel thorax a dusty appearance. The color of this pruinescence can vary from grey, through blue to even pink.
Location is Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Alongside a stream and paddy fields.
