Crowned Lemur male eye contact, Amber Mountain, Madagascar
A happy moment on our 2nd day in Amber Mountain. After seeing the Amber Mountain Rock Thrush earlier in the morning, seeing this lemur meant we had checked of the "must see" species. This lemur has a narrow distribution in the north with only a few thousand individuals. Here we see the male with its typical white face and crowned haircut.
