The best method, is to walk through the scrub until you disturb one into flight. It won&rsquo;t fly far, so pay attention to where it lands. And there&rsquo;s your target. If the location or orientation is not suitable, spook it into flight again.<br /> <br /> Sabina is what I call a ground hunter. It will scan the skies for its prey, hop into the air, grab the prey with almost 100% efficiency, and land back on the same perch.<br /> <br /> A little more care on the approach than some dragons, but not impossible.<br /> <br /> Location is Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. "Orthetrum sabina", the slender skimmer or green marsh hawk, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread, being found from south-eastern Europe and North Africa to Japan and south to Australia and Micronesia.
