Eutropis multifasciata – Common Sun Skink
I have counted a dozen spottings of this skink during a two hour bug safari, but they are very shy and cautious, making them very difficult to approach for a decent photograph. But the shear numbers means that I have close to 100 in my collection of images.
The flanks can be anything from black to red or even yellow. This is not a sex thing, both the sexes carrying the colors. Both genders can carry light colored spots on the flanks, but the female’s spots are edged black.
Location is Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Alongside a stream and paddy fields.

The East Indian Brown Mabuya, also known as Many-lined Sun Skink, Many-striped Skink, Common Sun Skink or as "golden skink", is a species of skink.
