    1. I didn't really work much myself for this one. It was so generic that after just a little searching I gave it up to BugGuide and someone who happened to be online must be a local expert. I got a classification back in about 10 min. I was amazed. Posted 9 years ago

Ctenicera umbripennis is a beetle species from the family click beetles (Elateridae). The scientific name of the species was first published in 1857 by LeConte valid.
