Mongoose - Herpestes javanicus
I thought I had managed to grab another otter shot, same story, just managed to get one good shot and a couple more as it vanished down the stream bank.
Back at the lab, I loaded up the images and discovered that it wasn’t that cute otter, but something different this time. Well, would you believe it!
Location is Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Alongside a stream and paddy fields.

I saw a black mongoose, by a lake, in Northwich, England. Definitely not native.
