Malagasy Bulbul - closeup, Amber Mountain, Madagascar
Common to see across Madagascar, active and noisy. There's an interesting Darwin-like effect once you know that the surrounding islands (Seychelles, Comoro, Reunion, Mauritius) each have their own Bulbul species with only minor differences.

The Malagasy Bulbul , also known as the Madagascar Bulbul, is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found on the Comoros, Madagascar, Mayotte, and the Seychelles.
