    1. Of course! Not a better match, the correct ID ;) thank you so much for correcting this!
      I've searched it and came across this http://www.lepidoptera.eu/show.php?ID=803&country=PT, but didn't realize that it was the correct species. I have lots of records of Synthymia fixa, incorrectly I though this was just another one. Well, it's my first Euclidia glyphica :) Cheers, Wildflower

The burnet companion moth (Euclidia glyphica) is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found in most of the Palearctic ecozone from Ireland in the west to Mongolia and Siberia in the east, south to the Mediterranean and North Africa.
