Tree Lucerne Moth (Uresiphita ornithopteralis)
These moths are highly variable and there is often discussion about the pale eastern and the dark western varieties.
We are lucky to find both. This one is the darkest form I've found and was attracted to lights at night.
About 24mm long overall.

The Tree Lucerne Moth is a moth of the Crambidae family. It is found in New South Wales, Norfolk Island, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.
