  1. Great job. It reminds me of Bender on Futurama somehow.. maybe the smile. Posted 9 years ago

  2. Nice technic. A little bit odd background... I believe it was a studio capture, wasn't it? How did you manage to control the damselfly, by cold? Posted 9 years ago
    1. Thanks Felix. It's not a studio capture but i could imagine you think it is, that pink background is mayble a little too much ghehe. Made this one and most of my other photos in my backyard. This one was shot on an early and cold morning so the damselfly doesn't move that much. And that pink background is from a pretty big flower. Posted 9 years ago
  3. How I wish to have damselfies in my backyard, I always need to drive to work :) I'm drived by backgrounds, one of mine main aims of my works. You are absolutely right, the challenging here was to imagine and correlate the habitat of this most beautiful coenagrionidae with the slightless possibilities of a pink flower, in the wild. And I came across with some possibilities, all adding towards a great photo, a great moment, and a fine capture too. To have on a daily basis a chance to explore and go further on the pursuit of "that images" is something to be very grateful, even when the day starts with a fresh gentle breeze, or when at sunset everything's seem to stop, while the lights fall to shadows. Congratulations, thank you so much for the reply, most welcome! Cheers* Posted 9 years ago
  4. Thanks Felix, great writing! Maybe you should create a small pond in your backyard! We never had damselflies visiting our backyard but since we have a pond there are many! Gr. Nik Posted 9 years ago
