Paropsis minor This brightly striped beetle is found along the east coast of Australia.  It is the smallest species of Paropsis and anomalous due to its bright transverse patterns, striate puncturations and feeding on tea tree rather than Eucalyptus.   <br />

    I will visit Gunter in Brisbane tomorrow. He is the Paropsis expert. Of course I am there for Paropsisterna. We will do a field trip in the Brisbane Valley (not Fortitude Valley). Watch this space.

Paropsis minor is a brightly striped beetle with unmistakable red, white and black striped transverse bands.
It is found along the east coast of Australia and as far south as Licola in Victoria.
It is the smallest species of Paropsis and anomalous by feeding on tea tree rather than Eucalyptus.
