Paropsisterna inspersa Mt. wombargo

This small yellow leaf beetle can often be found in numbers on young eucalyptus saplings. The black dots follow lines of fine puncturations along the elytra.

Paropsisterna inspersa is a small translucent yellow beetle.
It has a series of black dots placed exactly along the striae of the elytra and each dot is formed around an individual puncture. The striae are weakly formed and produce no groove. Intersitial puncturation is prolific but fine.
