
Pentatomid Bug - adult (Commius elegans)
A spectacular black stink bug with a yellow and white patterns on thorax and wings. Legs and antennae were also black. The underside was white.
This one was seen clambering over an Acacia bush but they are usually found on the native Cherry Ballart (Exocarpos cupressiformis).

Commius elegans is an Australian species of stink bug. Both the adults and the nymphs feed on the leaves and stems of the Cherry Ballart.
