
White butterfly baking in sun, Amber Mountain, Madagascar
Not the best angle for identification, but here goes...overall white in color with black tips. Eyes are visible in the bottom of the forewing, one per wing. From the looks of it, the wings are quite damaged.

''Protogoniomorpha anacardii'', the clouded mother-of-pearl, is a species of Nymphalidae butterfly found in tropical Africa.
Wingspan: 55–68 mm for males and 65–75 mm for females.
Flight period is year-round, peaking in summer and autumn.
Larval food is ''Asystasia'', ''Brillantaisia'', ''Isoglossa'', ''Justicia'', ''Mimulopsis'', and ''Paulowilhelmia'' species.
