Brown_Tree_Snake - Boiga irregularis
This snake lived in my meter box for a very long time.. it also found its way in my backpack and nearly went travelling with me! Lucky I checked the backpack! Someone used it in this article http://www.themorningbulletin.com.au/news/reports-man-brown-snake-bite-cracow-mine-site/2103138/
And in this one!!! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/432697476668112187/ as an EASTERN BROWN SNAKE.. This snake would not kill a person!! And I don't know where they got the photo from!!!

The brown tree snake is an arboreal rear-fanged colubrid snake native to eastern and northern coastal Australia, eastern Indonesia , Papua New Guinea, and a large number of islands in northwestern Melanesia. This snake is infamous for being an invasive species responsible for devastating the majority of the native bird population in Guam.

Are you saying somebody used your photo without permission and misinformed people about the danger? What a lowlife thing to do. Posted 9 years ago
