  1. Hilarious and unimaginable for me to have these types of wildlife readily around the house, gardens, etc! Posted 9 years ago
    1. Well it gave me a Sh... moment, till I realized that it is only a yellow belly, as we call them. A few week later an eastern brown snake got my croc shoe and put me in ER for 16 hours.. Posted 9 years ago

  2. Jimmenies…. you are not being a good advertisement for Australia tourism… snakes lurking in every corner Posted 9 years ago
  3. You are more likely to die from a bee sting than being bitten from a snake here in Australia. Most tourist don't even see a wild snake. Posted 9 years ago

The common tree snake ''Dendrelaphis punctulata'' is a slender, large-eyed, non-venomous, diurnal snake of many parts of Australia, especially in the northern and eastern coastal areas, and into Papua New Guinea.

This common snake is harmless, readily recognized as it is an agile snake with a very slender body and tail. The body color varies from green to olive-green to black, sometimes even blue, frequently pale yellow on the throat and belly but other pale colors have been noted, blue.. more
