
Native blue flatworms (Caenoplana coerulea)
A terrestrial turbellarian about 70mm long by 8mm diam. very shiny, soft, flexible, deep translucent blue, pale yellow dorsal line.
Able to extend/contract dramatically... so might be 15mm thick and 30mm long. :)
Found under very large wet log. These require permanently moist locations.
Voracious hunters feeding on small invertebrates or earthworms etc.
