In Norway a lot of (older) man-made structures are lifted off the ground by leglike pieces of rock or wood, like stilts. This method is commonly used to preserve the builiding itself when the landscape is shrouded in snow. But for now, it is summer, the weather is actually quite nice. It was raining though and there's always a shelter around:)
