  1. I'm afraid I have to promote this one as well :) Remarkable species and a great/long name :)

Slightly off topic, but do you have anything to share regarding the safety situation in western Africa for wildlife travel?

  2. Hi Ferdy.
Sorry it makes a long time.
I was a bit busy and I spent a couple of months into the bush, no coms etc...
It is a really pleasure to be back here. Some of the pics a just outstanding here...amazing work!
And thx also for your constant work on the site, its evolution is just remarquable!
To go back to your question,well...I will say be careful, like everywhere else, plus Western Africa is not really a remarquable place for wildlife travel. Most of the people are expecting some organisation (tour etc.) here, if you want some wildlife you would have to prepare your trip yourself and be aware and alert: ISIS, Boko Haram, lot of reason to be careful, even if it is not a daily preoccupation (except for Mali, Niger, maybe Burkina Faso and NE Ivory Coast). The main point is they do not care about their fauna and flora, massively destructed...I would say if you really need to go, it should be done soon, I am afraid that we won't be able to spot any wild animal soon...
