How welcome was a friends suggestion to take a boat ride to San Carlos in Nicaragua. While most of the others stocked up on booze, I stocked up in wildlife photos. Not easy on a relatively fast boat but I couldn&#039;t miss that.<br />
The booze boat is actually a lot cheaper than tourist trips and you can see as much. Caiman crocodilus,Geotagged,Nicaragua,Spectacled caiman,Winter, caiman, caimán de anteojos Click/tap to enlarge Country intro

  1. Welcome back, looks like the booze boat needed little booze to be enjoyable :) Posted 9 years ago

The spectacled caiman, also known as the white caiman or common caiman, is a crocodilian reptile found in much of Central and South America. It lives in a range of lowland wetland and riverine habitat types and can tolerate salt water as well as fresh; due in part to this adaptability it is the most common of all crocodilian species.
