    1. Wow, thank you very much for promoting my first image here and also for welcoming me like this :) ! Posted 7 years ago
  2. Great capture! At first glimpse I thought it was L. dubia, but it isn't. Beautiful species and a fine photo matching. Welcome, cheers* Posted 7 years ago
    1. Thanks so much. I used a reasonable amount of time identifying this one and made the conclusion that it has to be rubicunda. They are both rather common here. Posted 7 years ago
      1. Great job. Hope to see some more odonata photos from Finland too! ;) if you are interested please check some of the species from portugal on my gallery. Cheers* Posted 7 years ago
  3. Welcome on board, Ari! You make a killer first impression. Sharing photos with species ID and location included, that's exactly how we like it, but you do it from the start :) Posted 7 years ago
    1. That's a fantastic welcoming comment from you, thank you very much! I did some research on the site before uploading and tried to act as I thought a new member is expected. I'm glad if I managed to do it right at once :). Posted 7 years ago
      1. Believe me, it is an exception. We normally need to guide new members to share photos the JungleDragon way, you're a shining exception :) Posted 7 years ago
        1. That's very nice to hear from my point of view. On the other hand, from your point of view it can be a little different ... Posted 7 years ago
  4. Great Ari,
Well I know your photos are great and I am soooo pleased to see you here!
Sorry not to comment earlier, I had some serious trouble with my internet connection, took me ages to load one page :(

    1. Thanks Annette. At least I felt very welcomed when I uploaded a couple of first images :-). Sorry to hear about your connection problems but that happens to all of us every now and then. I hope it's OK by now. I was visiting my friend this weekend (that one who was there in Costa Rica) and he showed a set of photographs from that trip. It was a great and very interesting set consisting mainly of birds and animals. Posted 7 years ago
