This is an odd crop of a simple photo of a Green Finch. Yet by cutting out all other elements, I find it interesting to admire the beauty of the feathers of such a common bird.

The European Greenfinch, or just Greenfinch, is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. The genus "Carduelis" might be split up and in this case, the greenfinches would be separated in their old genus "Chloris" again.
