  1. Lucky you! We saw none when we visited.
Seeing that you visited Iguazu and the Pantanal, I'm wondering whether your tour also included Manaus?

    1. No, didn't get to Manaus. My friend and I were on our own in Iguazu Falls and then met up with our tour in Cuiba. We went along the Transpantaneira to SouthWild Pantanal Lodge, then to Porto Jofre, where we headed by boat to a floating hotel. From there, we sailed along the Cuiaba River, the Three Brothers River, and the Paquiri River. On the way back, we stopped again at SouthWild and then at Pouso Alegre before heading back to Cuiaba. The jaguar is a big cat, a feline in the "Panthera" genus, and is the only "Panthera" species found in the Americas. The jaguar is the third-largest feline after the tiger and the lion, and the largest in the Western Hemisphere. The jaguar's present range extends from Southern United States and Mexico across much of Central America and south to Paraguay and northern Argentina.
