Hook-nosed sea snake
Highly venomous sea snake from Indo-pacific oceans. My first sea snake.. We rescued it to shore as it was trapped in super dry and hot sand (it might've came ashore during high tide ). It was trying so hard to move but their body is not meant for land or such dry and hot sand.
We took it to the shore line.. It must be in heat shock as it took 15-20 mins for it to get to its normal body movements. We were happy to this awesome snake swimming..

Hydrophis schistosus (formerly known as Enhydrina schistosa), commonly known as the beaked sea snake, hook-nosed sea snake, common sea snake, or the Valakadyn sea snake, is a highly venomous species of sea snake common throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific. This species is implicated in more than 50% of all bites caused by sea snakes, as well as the majority of envenomings and fatalities.
