A green damselfly Damselflies generally rests with their wings closed, was lucky to spot this one with its wings still spread.. and manage to click it. Would have loved to have all 4 wings in focus, but by the time I adjusted my angle( I was already down on the ground) it flew away... Geotagged,India,Ischnura senegalensis,Winter, damselfly

''Ischnura senegalensis'', also known variously as common bluetail, marsh bluetail, ubiquitous bluetail, African bluetail, and Senegal golden dartlet, is a widespread damselfly of the family Coenagrionidae.

It is native from Africa, through the Middle East, to southern and eastern Asia. The species is found in slow-stagnant or leisurely flowing water bodies and tolerates both disturbances, salt and pollution but is absent from intact forest areas.
