    1. Thanks! I'm not great with insect identification so if you suspect something else please let me know. I even suspect it could be Leptysma marginicollis as well. The website I found says that stripes in the eyes of Achurum are not prominent, which could point to Leptysma.

The Long Header Toothpick Grasshopper is a short-horned Grasshopper in the Achurum genus. Indentification information: Elongated, reduced wings. Pale brown to gray, legs sometimes green. Face very slanted, antennae sword-like. Small wings--flightless. No spine between forelegs differentiates from "toothpick grasshoppers" in other subfamilies.
