Pseudosphinx tetrio i know the picture isn't really clear but i had very little time, but this moth is black ,grey and white. Very Hairy. a black proboscis. a huge white abdomen and when flying its wings spread was about the size a baby's hand. It could be related to a family of Sphingidae.   3. ooooh that makes sense that Pseudosphinx tetrio caterpillar is the colourful one Wildflower posted because i see those all over here but we've never gotten to see the end result until now

''Pseudosphinx tetrio'' is a species of moth in the family Sphingidae. Its common names include tetrio sphinx, giant gray sphinx, frangipani hornworm, and plumeria caterpillar. It is native to the tropical and subtropical Americas from the southern and southwestern United States to Brazil. The occasional individual has been recorded as far north as the northeastern United States.
