
Bubble coral shrimp (Vir_philippinensis)

Transparent shrimp, with purple antennae, a thin purple line along the back, the (long) claws, and the legs. 1.5 cm. Easy to identify, due to the colour pattern and to the host.
Habitat:
Always living in association with the bubble coral Plerogyra sinuosa.Reef front. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific

Small shrimp with transparent body, purple antennae, purple line running down each leg. It is found on bubble coral (Plerogyra sinuosa). First described by A.J. Bruce & A. Svoboda in 1984.
