Is a species of tunicate in the family Didemnidae. Soft, urn shaped, colonies, more rarely encrusting or lobed, diameter 5-10 cm. The common cloacal opening is very large compared to the many, tiny, oral siphons scattered all upon the colony. The dark green colour of the cloacal opening and of irregular stripes is due to a symbiotic blue-green algae (Prochloron).<br />

''Didemnum molle'' is a species of colonial tunicate in the family Didemnidae. It is commonly known as the tall urn ascidian, the green barrel sea squirt or the green reef sea-squirt. It is native to the Red Sea and the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region.
