Crown Toby

Seen in Dauin, Philippines (Oct 2, 2012).
It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 14cm in length. Feeds on a wide variety of benthic organisms: gastropods, sponges, algae, bivalves, polychaetes, tunicates, crabs, sea urchins, heart urchins, brittle stars, bryozoans, peanut worms, various small crustaceans and foraminiferans.
Canthigaster coronata is a Pufferfish from the Indo-West Pacific. Inhabits sand and rubble bottoms of seaward reefs. Found mostly below depths of 23 m, but occasionally seen in as little as 6 m.
