Medium Ceropegia (Ceropegia media) Ceropegia media is an endemic to Western Ghats and is found at higher elevations. It is a slender twinning climber with oppositely arranged narrow hairy leaves. The caterpillar of the Striped Tiger & Glassy Tiger butterfly feed on the poisonous leaves.The tubers are edible and are used as vegetable by the tribals. Extensive tuber collection coupled with habitat destruction has unfortunately endangered this species.
