Baby Peacock As we were leaving an exotic petting zoo in Gatlinburg we noticed fluffy animals waddling around in the weeds. We zoomed in with our camera to get a closer look only to find out they were baby peacocks. Peacocks are often seen in zoos and rarely farms but they are native to India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar (Burma), and The Congo. The scientific name for a peacock is Pavo cristatus.
