Chachalacas call a bit like turkeys, they look like pheasants with a hawk's beak.
Luckily, unlike most other birds in our garden, they only care for fruit we don't eat.
Adrian our gardener declares that they are better than chicken, we have put our foot down though :)

The grey-headed chachalaca is a member of an ancient group of birds of the Cracidae family, which are related to the Australasian mound builders. It breeds in lowlands from eastern Honduras to northwestern Colombia at up to 1,100 m altitude.
