Pygmy Seahorse, camouflaging in its Gorgonian Fan home
This photograph took me 40 minutes of patient waiting and remaining still. Incredibly hard to spot, these tiny seahorses are less than 1.5cm, and are very camera-shy. There are increasing incidences of coral damage by pollution and inconsiderate diving, but this photo highlights how the beauty of the ocean, however tiny, can be respected if only more heart was invested in it.

Hippocampus bargibanti, also known as Bargibant's seahorse or the pygmy seahorse, is a seahorse of the family Syngnathidae found in the central Indo-Pacific area.
