Attacus Atlas moth
Masking its prensence this cobra snap was shot in Dutch Emmen zoo with our Panasonic movie camera. Wished I had my 60D but heylady fortune has granted me this digital capture. The magic of multple instances, it almost sounds like programming:) In this shot the corrupted leaf seems like three-dimensional, the cobra moths bending truth around it.

The Atlas moth is a large saturniid moth found in the tropical and subtropical forests of Southeast Asia, and common across the Malay archipelago. Atlas moths are considered the largest moths in the world in terms of total wing surface area. Their wingspans are also amongst the largest, reaching over 25 cm. Females are appreciably larger and heavier.
