  1. This bird has been identified as a juvenile Northern Goshawk and was observed on an old trail south of the community of Watson Lake, Yukon. They are not frequently seen in the area. Posted 9 years ago

The northern goshawk is a species of medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, a family which also includes other extant diurnal raptors, such as eagles, buzzards and harriers.
