Whitetail Buck in October
In Lewistown, Montana where my folks live, my mom and I were walking out our front door when I heard something in the field behind our house. I looked out back and noticed 2 smaller bucks sparring and some does were feeding close by. I ran in the house to get my camera and when I got set up in the backyard, little did I know this guy was about 15 yards from me. If hunting in town was legal, he'd be in my freezer!

The white-tailed deer, also known commonly as the whitetail and the Virginia deer, is a medium-sized species of deer native to North America, Central America, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia, where it predominately inhabits high mountain terrains of the Andes.
