  1. "Camel Joe" taken at the Serengeti Texas Resort.
    I was worried that he might spit, but he came up to me and essentially swallowed my whole head. As I was looking through the lens, everything went dark.

  2. You appear to have uploaded this photo twice. Would you like to delete the other one? Any idea what species of camel this is?

  3. I think it is a dromedary (one hump), but not sure enough to commit.

    Actually, same camel, two slightly different shots with ever so slightly looks to them. One might be a bit more aesthetic.

The dromedary, also called the Arabian camel or the Indian camel, is a large, even-toed ungulate with one hump on its back. First described by Aristotle, the dromedary was given its binomial name by Carl Linnaeus in 1758.
