White-Crowned Sparrow, Missouri
With my camera ready to shoot some birds I leaped out the front door. Jumping from tree to tree and bush to bush were sparrows everywhere. It was quite a game slowly creeping about the yard making sure not to stir the birds away from their resting spots. But in the end I was gifted with many clear photos.

The white-crowned sparrow is a species of passerine bird native to North America. A medium-sized member of the New World sparrow family, this species is marked by a grey face and black and white streaking on the upper head.
