They take a break from raiding our oranges while it is pouring down.
These are normally lowland parrots, they send out a recce team to check out the citrus crop. As soon as they spot an interesting set of trees, they go and fetch their mates round Cañas. As soon as the high winds are back and the citrus are gone, so are they.

  thank you. The 600mm has a homemade 'electronic' conversion, which was made at the time to keep my D2x from nagging. Only they used a cheap zoom to do it so so it always comes as 145mm. Posted 9 years ago
